The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is thankful to our corporate partners who provide critical support as well as unique initiatives and actions that the public can take part in to support the IRC. This will help the IRC continue our work as the largest refugee resettlement agency in the U.S., and help us respond to several threats facing refugees right now, including the spread of COVID-19, displacement due to conflict, and rising rates of hunger. In addition to donating to the IRC directly, here are ways to support the IRC through our partners*:
AmazonSmile
Customers shopping on Amazon can support refugees by going to smile.amazon.com anytime and selecting the IRC as the charity of choice. The AmazonSmile Foundation will then donate 0.5% of the purchase price for all your eligible AmazonSmile purchases.
Mastercard
With the Mastercard Donate App, users will be able to enroll their card for round-up debit and credit purchases to the nearest dollar in support of the IRC. The app is available on the Apple Store and Google Play
Miles 4 Migrants
Miles4Migrants allows frequent flyers to donate unused frequent flyer miles and credit card points to help refugees and asylum seekers reunite with their families and reach safe homes.
PayPal
PayPal users can select the IRC as their favorite charity in PayPal’s Give at Checkout settings, Then, every time they make an online purchase with PayPal, customers have the opportunity to donate $1 to our cause.
Uncommon Goods
All year round on the Uncommon Goods’ website, customers can select the IRC (one of four charity partners) at checkout, and Uncommon Goods will donate $1 to support our work.
Workman Publishing
Workman Publishing has released a new cookbook, The Kitchen Without Borders, filled with recipes and stories from chefs from Eat Offbeat, a meal box delivery and catering company staffed by immigrants and refugees. For every copy sold from March 1, 2021, to March 1, 2022, Workman Publishing will donate 2% of the cover price to the IRC to support our work.
